Choosing your TV bracket

TV brackets as sold in stores can be very expensive and often you feel pressured to buy as part of a package when buying a new TV. We're set up to sell you the right TV bracket for your TV at a much friendlier price.

Now how to choose which bracket is right for you:

Think about where the TV will go on the wall. If it is directly in front of where you want to be sitting and you don't want to move the TV then you probably only need a basic Flat TV bracket. These are the most cost effective options.

If your TV is going to be mounted higher on the wall than your eye-line then you'll need the tilt type of bracket which as it says, allows you to tilt the TV so it can be in your eye-line.

If you want to fit the TV into a corner or you want to pull it out from the wall so it extends out into the room, choose a Cantilever TV bracket. These are the most flexible wall mount brackets they are usually heavy to safely support your TV

You will also need to check on the back of your television for the spacing between the horizontal and vertical mounting holes. Most TV’s have four fixing holes at the back which can be for example 200 x 200 mm, you need to ensure whichever bracket you choose is the correct size for the television and will fit to the hole spacing on the back. Another point to bear in mind is the weight of your television; our brackets will provide a maximum weight which can be secured to the bracket. You need to make sure that your bracket can hold the weight of your television by checking this maximum weight on the bracket specification.

The size of your television screen also needs to be taken in to consideration when selecting which bracket you will require. If you have a smaller television screen and you select a larger bracket, while it may fit the hole spacing, it may be too large and visible behind the television screen. This would of course not look very good and choosing a smaller bracket would be a better option.
